Is the head version to much amp for home use? Does anyone know how these sound at lower volumes.

I like the head version and that would be the one I would want to buy.

Thanks.

Sure, if you dont mind carrying/moving it around.. and your neighbors and the people living around you aren't an issue - its never too much Amp.

Going by Mustang II - I'll bet these LARGER beasts are still incredible sounding at low volume. I'm still watching Youtube and haven't even seen MIII's hit there yet, but I'm waiting :)

It is all weights to me, as being able to slog stuff around is on the important side for me. :)

The V head is not so bad at 27 lbs., but the matching 4*12 cab is 78 lbs.

I have a 2 * 10 bass cab that weighs in at 60 lbs and it is a real pain to move anywhere.
I had to sell off my old 2*15 cab as it was on the wrong side of 100 lbs and I could not move it by myself any longer.

I bet the V amp sounds teriffic though, as all the Mustangs seem to :!: :)
and if you have sherpas to help slog it around I'd be considering it :D

The IV has the same power 150(2*75) watts into a 2*12 and only weighs in at a managible 47 lbs.

Yeah, I'm not really concerned about moving it around. I was just curious as to the sound at lower volumes.
