The Band repeat function on my MII has a problem with FUSE; and it has happened more than once.

I get a good Band backup track to play along with, and it is on Repeat setting. E.g., just now I played for over an hour (BTW, great sound, Fender), and once I was done the Band would not stop playing. The "STOP" light was illuminated just begging me to click it so it would stop the Band...but I could not get the function to respound to my mouse.

The Band just played on and on (it's probably because they are quite good).
I even brought up a new preset that had no Band associated with it, but the old Band just a kept on a playin'. I figure they were "in the groove, Jackson!"

Anyway, this glitch needs to be addressed with a Fender update to FUSE.
As it is now, the price I get for playing with the "Band" is, when I am done, I must exit the entire FUSE program and then reboot.

It would be nice if the "STOP" actually worked. If anyone else has experienced this please chime in so I won't feel so alone. :D But I know it's not my imagination since this has happened every time I use the Repeat function with the Band playing.

Thanks.

I've had that happen to me also but only one time. Although I don't use that feature much and also haven't upgraded to the latest fuse. Unless you've already upgraded, maybe it is fixed now?

Me neither, and it might be fixed in the latest software/firmware versions. I'll try it after.

I'm sorry--I should have mentioned in my OP that I do have the latest versions of Fuse and Firmware...

Oh ok....its still apparent. What to do for now is dont move the Amp model dial since this seems to only happen when you touch the Amp correct? .. From what i remember it was pretty hard for me to make it get stuck until he explained he was changing the modeling
on the Amp instead of using Fuse to change them. I hope thats all it is.

Sounds like a plan. While using the Band, set on repeat, I will make sure not to touch anything on the amp [except, of course, for the master volume level]. Let's see if that solves the problem. (BTW, I don't recall messing with the amp levels while playing, but I may have.)

I'll report back after I try it...but not tonight as it's late and I'm going to hit the sack.

I don't see where quicknthedead said anything about moving the Amp model dial. For the record, when this happened to me I hadn't changed anything on the Amp either. Just opened Fuse, selected a backing track, chose repeat and had the same result of being unable to stop it after it played through a few times.

I think you may be barking up the wrong tree, alinux. :?

Seems more like a Fuse bug to me as quicknthedead suggested in his original post.

You're correct. I wasn't refering to him, I was refering to the Url I included above about the origiinal user who had/has the same problem. He said it it only happened when he turns the dial on the amp. Since i was unable to reproduce the problem otherwise, until he mentioned that .. I assumed everyone was doing that. No biggie. Its one-liner of code that Fender can fix easily, but unfortunately they missed it on the last Fuse update.

Well, I just don't know what to make of this. Tonight I've tried six ways from Sunday to make the problem occur...but she just won't do it now! Yeah, that's right, it's working fine for now...

I've tried with twiddlin' knobs, or not twiddlin', or using amp vs using preset, but no luck no where no how. The little bugger's gone undergound (kinda reminds you of a car problem, when it shows all the time, and then when you take it to the mechanic it runs just fine  ).

I'll keep a lookout for it, and when it shows again maybe I'll be able to add something to the parameters here.

Such is thee Land of The Troubleshoot! :?: Sheesh :!:
