My Mustang II will be here tomorrow afternoon sometime. AND I CAN'T WAIT. I got into the Peavy Ampkit before I even knew what the hell a Fender Mustang amp was. I really like some of the tone I can get with the amplink, but there still are audio issues and a lack of flexible options even with the 20 dollar starter kit. Not to mention when the battery on the iPod/iPhone gets low, you gotta recharge it.

I am really jazzed about the possibilities that this new amp will open for me as a guitar enthusiast. I have been playing through a Peavey Rage 158 for the past fourteen years (I got it as a package deal with my MIM Strat). So having a "bigger" amp that lets me experiment with sound and tone has me really chomping at the bit. Now I know you probably are like,

You are right to be excited. Tomorrow is going to be a happy day. I have the Mustang I, bought it last September. I wanted something small and Solid State , because my tube amps have a curfew of about 10:30pm (the kid goes to bed, and the wife just wants me to keep it low later at night, but tube amps sound good when loud!). This little amp gives me the opportunity to keep playing well into midnight. I am going to keep this amp to the office to jam on during lunch, and am planning on getting the Mustang III next month when they become available.

Congrats, I got mine last weekend and am amazed at how good it sounds. Now I have to figure out how to use Ampitude LE and fuse.

A decision you will never regret...guaranteed! :)

I went with my wife to buy mine at the end of november, I had to carry it from the shop to the car, then from the car upstairs to our flat, she wrapped it, and then I had to stare at it underneath our Christmas tree for the next month! It was soooo worth waiting for!

FUSE is great, Ableton Live is cool too. Haven't used Amplitude yet so I've still got that to look forward too:)

Enjoy!

I know what you're saying BeefY, except I didn't go with her. I gave my wife a list of amps for Xmas "knowing" she would be "reasonable" and pick the cheapest alternative. Wouldn't you know there would be a SCXD owner in the store when she went shopping and that's what she picked up. I had to explain that, yes, I know it's a tube amp, but I would really rather save her the $$. It worked and I got my MII!!
