Go to 65 reverb preset

Increase mod knob to 1 and put at zero

Increase delay knob to 1 and put at zero.

This gives a great clean no effect sound. Straight guitar.

another option is to create a custom sound with fuse that doesn't have any effects or modeling, save it to your mustang and boom: you have clean guitar even when you don't have fuse running (without knob cranking).

What I read suggets you can only turn off cab modeling. Is there also a way to turn off amp modeling?

I just took a look and it seems as though you have to pick one of the amp models, as you say. Not sure how one would get around that without access to the software/firmware of the amp.
