I also have a G-DEC 3. i like it but i dont know everything about how to change it to a country sound. If anyone wants to email me info, that would be fine. wilmdvd@yahoo.com

You don't need to add your eMail address - this board will eMail you automatically when replied to. Um.. not sure what to say tho. Curious tho, How come you have two Amps, did you buy them at the same time ? Try closing down the program and re-opening it or
reboot the computer ..it should be the same as the G-DEC ...or do you mean you dont know how to use the controls within Fuse like the pull-down on the top-left for presets and effects? ... i dont know ..but I'm sure you'll figure it out... As for Country ..just pick a clean setting I guess, like Deluxe or Twin.. with some nice delay and reverb.

Hey Thanks for your feed back. No I bought the G-Dec first about 6 months ago and i love it with the built in band/tracs. But the Mustang 2 i just got and have tried several attempts to get my computer to control the amp settings, but it wont recoginize the amp. I called the music shop where i bought it, and on Sat Morn they said for me to bring in my Laptop, and they will try for me. My computer is a HP about 2 years old. Has Windows 7. So hopefully the can help me. But for a small amp the Mustang 2 sounds better than the G-Dec 3. But i love them both. If they get it fixed i will share what the problem was in case someone else has the same problems.

I see, OK thnx. Yeah it would be good to know what's the matter since a few on here seem to be having the connection issue. I guess the G-Dec never had this problem which makes it a Mustang only thing. Good luck, I really hope they figure it out for ya.

Well friends, i was planning on going to the music store and have them install the Mustang 2 software on my laptop, but i got snowed in. So cant get there until next week. I did however call them and they did advise me that you have to up date to a newer or another version of Fender Fuse to your computer. I will respond back when i get mine to work. Until then I will just play my guitar thru my Mustang with how i have it manually set. If this will help when you change the settings on your amp manually, and get a sound you like, just hit the SET button and hold until it starts blinking and your amp will save that setting. Have a good weekend friends.
