Finally got around to taking some pictures of the back panel. Going to try to work on a few presets tonight.

For the LCD contrast, you just keep pushing the UTIL button on the amp until it cycles through to it.

Can't the EFX loop out double as a 1/4" line out for recording and PA use?

Fender really should have moved upscale to a TRS 1/4" stereo line out, or two separate 1/4" output jacks on the MIII and larger amps (or even better, two lo-Z XLR outs!), which are really pro gigging amps, and PA's prefer lo-Z XLRs. Having to go the delicate stereo 1/8" mini phone-to-RCA-to-phone plug converter route is just plain idiotic for a pro player. Worse, having to kluge the conversion like that is far more prone to noise, dropout and breakage.

Bingo! I couldn't agree more! An 1/8" TRS (stereo) headphone jack at a direct right angle to the chassis? Ridiculous! If possible, I'll look to replace mine (on a Mustang V head) with a 1/4" jack and relocate it up on top somewhere with the other controls, where it should have been located by design.

Be sure to post your thoughts on the IV when you get it. I'm really excited to hear more about it.

Classic Chorus were nice too. Out of ALL the Amps I had... over the many yrs .. my favorite is a Marshall tube 212 I had .. second best came the 212 Peavey and I just
know this Fender IV will put'em all to shame I bet. Stereo heaven..but with enough
balls to Jam anywhere. Endless possibilities. And yeah, I've always wondered where
all the 2x10 Amps are hidden...cuz my other favs for playing thru were all 10's ..like
the Vibro King (in store demo :)) and the old Super Reverb's I loved with 10's but always thought even a 2x10 would be something to listen to ..since some amazing Bassmans come with 3x10's and they sound tight...but yeah ..i know what you mean, why aren't
there more.

The best I've found in recent years is the 80's red knob super 210. All tube and a very underated amp and 60 watts to boot
