I am a beginner player and I just got the Mustang I. I am having trouble dialing in a good tone for the kind country songs. I'm really into Keith Urban and I can't find a good tone to play his songs. Any advice? I know the amp came with a CD with artist presets but i can't get that to work on my computer. If anyone could give me advice it would be much appreciated! Thank you!

I dont see any Keith Urban presets yet, but i'm sure there's something up there that will
fir the bill even tho it might not say "Urban" in the name. First, and being a beginner, you will want to launch Fuse, its the best way to get united with the Amps tone controls. Since you're not familar with amp dials, you just download these presets via the Fuse control center and bang ..instant progress.

Whats going on with the install ?

Thanks for your response. I downloaded Fuse, but I'm having trouble figuring out what to do next. I found a preset called "K Urban Soil" that I want to try but I don't know how to get to play in Fuse. Can you help me? I'm sorry I'm a beginner and just trying to get a handle on things. Thank you!

I'm half asleep here... sorry if this sounds rather tedious..... its not all that hard really.
So Fuse is installed? and you've installed Silverlight as well?.. I can't remember if Fuse
installs everything automatically or not..but if not, here's a link to Silverlight which is
the required interface to use Fuse. http://www.silverlight.net/getstarted/ I can't remember if we need .NET framework neither .. I don't think so...I think it was for Amplitude and Ableton...anyhow ..install Fuse and Silverlight and you should be set.

Run Fuse...login with your password on the bottom right... Click [Media Library] followed by (Web) type in what you want to search for or just click [GO] to go through the entire list and right-click to download all the presets you like. Next Click (Computer) instead of (Web) to have the (Media Library) display all your download presets. Right-Click to load
them I think. Or use (Open) to the left beside (New) and it should have a nice list there now. Hope this helps.

Sorry to keep bugging you, but I'm still having trouble. Let me tell you where I'm at so far....I have Fuse installed and Silverlight and I can access them just fine. I followed all your instructions but I still can't seem to get the presets to play once I've downloaded them. I got this preset from the website https://fuse.fender.com/presets.php/title/K+Urban+Soil and downloaded it and saved it to my hard-drive but I can't get it pull up in Fuse. Any ideas? Thanks again!

Its probably for the Fender G-Dec line then. When you goto Fender, always make sure to click the second pull-down tab and select Mustang. Its become a habit to me now, sorry.

OK so I guess that tone is not available for the Mustang amp? I'm having trouble trying to get the presets to play through my amp. I downloaded a few in media library and then right click on load preset but I don't get any different sound coming out of my amp. What I am doing wrong?

Also, I'm really trying to find a good setting to play the song I'm working on right now Keith Urban's "Long Hot Summer." I have been using the 57' Deluxe preset on my amp but it just doesn't sound right. I need more distortion or something but not as much as some of the other presets...Here is a link to the song if you don't know what I'm talking about. Take a listen and see what you think.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mldClZq6sSk

Thank you!

What I did to listen to user made presets was clicked "Community" in fuse, clicked presets, and then did the download button.

once it was downloaded I clicked the open button near the top left (beside new) and then found that file and hit ok. It then loaded the preset into my mustang 1 and I could save it to the amp by just pressing save on the amp (which then made the save button flash fast) and then I hit save again.

In the list of available presets on my fuse interface as of right now I don't see any that match the name you gave or any that have urban in the name. But this might help to find others that might fit the bill. Hope this helps!
