I did find, after doing the typically unmanly thing of actually reading the manual, that it's easy to increase the recorded track volume after recording. Piece of cake. And since the signal is so clean I don't notice any appreciable increase of noise. Coupled with Howard's suggest of increasing the track volume while recording, all should be ok. Not sure how you do that, but again, I guess I'll just have to buck up and read the manual. :D

Which program are y'all recording with?


I started using Ableton and have also recently tried Reaper. Have been doing exactly what pictoratus is also doing in both programs (see above). Still not sure which I prefer - I guess Ableton in the premium product, but it's not exactly intuitive. Truthfully, I still prefer an old fashioned mixing console and recorder. Like to twirl them pots or slide them sliders. Guess I'm a bit of a dinosaur.
