But look at the postage on that  , and I thought we got a rough deal over here in the UK with our prices.
I picked up a Mustang II for £145 ($225 USD or $228 AUD) so not to bad i suppose.

oOPs .. scratch that. I though it was local to Aussie. 400 bucks lol .. sorry.. I should of LQQK'd closer. Weird tho, I thought Fender had local dealers everywhere on this planet and $200 for shipping is a ludicrous .. I order stuff from Aussie all-the-time and I pay the same for shipping as I do from U.S.A, in fact it always works out less ..but mostly small stuff like jewelry, shoes and clothing.

The Euro and Yen I try to avoid at ALL cost ... but for £145 ... u got a perty fine deal.

Hmmm, I'm a little conflicted on this one actually...

I bought my CyberDeluxe back in 2005 and have gigged with it *a lot* - for cover bands, it's a dream come true. I was looking at the CyberTwin SE earlier in the year, but when it was discontinued, I was forced to wait for it's replacement. I've got a Mustang II and it's pretty cool, but it doesn't have near the high-end features of my CyberDeluxe or a CyberTwin (and clearly wasn't meant too!). But seriously, this new lineup is a far cry from the CyberTwin isn't it? I know the DSP engine is better, but a 1/8" stereo plug for output to a PA? C'mon! That said, I love FUSE and I love recording via USB to my Mac from my Mustang II - works awesome and sounds awesome. I'm hoping Fender still has something up their sleeve at NAMM to roundout the upper end of their "Cyber" offering...

Yup, my single biggest complaint with the Mustang's. Its absurd to have installed a stereo (TRS) headphone jack that is intended to be used as a Line Level feed to a board (or whatever!) for recording purposes, and have it be 1/8" diameter off the rear panel at a direct right angle to the chassis. Absolutely nutz!

YAY. Short and sweet.

I have had my Mustang II a while now and I continue to find new sounds and combinations i like. At first, it was entertaining to tweak this and adjust that, but now I have dialed in on several sounds I like and concentrate on playing.

The FUSE software seems to be evolving nicely and i consider it a "necessary" element to the Mustang amp. The community contributions will be a great asset over time. Loren and the team do a great job of responding to questions and that is a valuable asset as well.

The price point is good for what's offered. I love being able to model things I would never have bought piece by piece. Highly recommended. Hope my Must II will continue to evolve with the recent releases of Must III, IV, V.

Hmmm, maybe a question here...

Will Mustang I and II be able to follow the growth path mapped for Must III, IV, V?

I am well pleased with my Must II!

I'll say Yay.

I'm still getting used to it.

One thing that would be kind of fun is if they offered the Mustang in the tan tweed and moved the inputs and knobs to the back/top of the amp.

I wonder if they might eventually market them in different colors. They are releasing some new GDEC 3's in different colors. the Blues one is with the tan, the country in dark brown and the metal one in grey camo.

They could, without much more cost to them, market different mustangs with predominantly Vintage presets or Modern presets and different looks on them. That would be really cool.

I might have bought a tan Vintage model if they had offered it. Although, I am now falling in love with some of the heavier tones.
