A big huge Yay. My herd consists of a 59 Bassman Reissue, a Special Edition Hot Rod Deluxe, a Blues Junior NOS, and a Mustang I. I bought the Mustang to take on assignment with me to China (I leave next Wednesday) and I haven't even flipped any of the other amps on since I got it (On December 26th).

The sound is great. The built in tuner is a convenience. Being able to record without having to buy an interface is awesome. The Fuse software is too cool. My only $@!&* is that the Ableton Lite software is dizzying (I followed the advice on here and got the wavosaur but will learn the Ableton when I'm in Shanghai)

All this for $99??? I think these amps are revolutionary, frankly.

Big YaY for me :!:

I've not used any of my other guitar amps since picking up the Mustang, my roland, peavey, & traynor are all sitting pining away in the corner :)
Loaded & tweeked 15 presets into it, have not connected it to a pc since.
Probably won't have to unless I am after another different sound.
That is the beauty of this amp, you can customize it to just the way you want it.
And the price is increadible for what you are getting.

Even went and packed the old blues deluxe in a storage room in the basement.

Don't think I'd try to gig with the little Mustang I :) but for practice and recording it is da bomb.

@vonas01:
give Audacity or Reaper a try, Abeleton makes my eyes cross
Reaper can do ASIO, and there are instructions for re-complining Audacity to include ASIO driver support.
Both programs have Linux and native windows versions available

wavosaur looks interesting, will have to add it to my bag of DAW tools, thanks!

Yay all the way.
I really like the Mustang II I bought a couple of months ago. The only regret I have is that I didn't wait and get a III instead. I've played out with it a bit, and for the small volume gigs I do the II works well. I just set up a footswitch with a couple of sounds that work for me, and off I went.
I may wind up selling the II and getting a III instead, but I think Fender has a great idea with this series.

I agree for $100 or $200 you could use it for a year and throw it in the trash. Not that you would what to it is a great amp!!!!

See that people, from a great sounding Tube Amp to an Incredable sounding SS Amp and no looking back. I believe it. These Amps are like going from a clean Rolls-Royce Phantom to a raunchy Bugatti Veyron in less than sixty seconds!

YAY YAY YAY all the way. Being able to hook it up to your computer is a bonus, but you don't need to if you want to enjoy this amp.

A great big YAY!! I love my Mustang II. This is the third amp that I've owned in the 14 years I've been playing (forth if you count the amp I borrowed from my cousin for a while).

15W Bass practice amp (second hand bought for £10) :D
2x12 Marshall cab and 100W Marshall head (can't remember which model) - borrowed
Marshall MG10
and then...
Mustang II

Being able to connect to my laptop and tweak settings and generally play around is fantastic. Being able to record using the amp as an interface is a pretty cool feature too.

Lovin' it! :D

You've got it BeefY,

I feel like I'm reliving the 60's ... Fender History again. Instead of Fender Mustangs, they should have been called Fender Tone Kings.

most certainly YAY. the only thing that sucks and has nothing to do with the amp is that ableton is a major pain in the rear end and basically impossible to use, Jesus wouldn't be able to use it.
