My over-writes of the amber presets do not seem to be saving when I alter them in Fuse.

I'm doing some edits, then pressing the save button on the amp. When I leave that preset and return, my changes are not saved?

What might I be doing wrong?

Try pressing (SAVE) within Fuse proggy. Pretty sure I read we can only over-write Yellow within Fuse.

Thank you!

It works when you save within the Fuse program on the SAVE tab.

From the manual, I thought it meant you could only make changes via Fuse to the amber presets (and still save with the button on the amp).

All is well. I wanted one bank color for a humbucker, one for a Strat, and one for a Tele.

Now she's singing :D .

Great idea to use each bank for a different guitar!

I thought about selecting one bank for mostly clean, one somewhat dirty and the other just wild and grungy in an initial setup. The latter would get very little usage from me. But I too think its a great idea to set each bank to a specific guitar. That is now the approach I am going to take. I have the MII. Not trying to learn it all at once. Once I feel comfortable with the amp, I'll attack Fuse (finalize my presets), Amplitude and Ableton more agressibly. Thanks oasis02.

For whatever reason, the Stangs are very particular and sensitive to your guitar/pickup combo. The amp takes on a whole nuther character from axe to axe. Thus whole banks per axe makes a ton of sense. You really need to tweak the tone sets for a particular guitar.

Yeppers... massive difference. The Mustangs are really articulate to each guitar... they seem to bring out the true sound of each axe... I can hardly tell when I run thru my Tube amp which guitar i'm using but these Mustangs are cool...now I can figure out which guitars need adjustments :)

Yeah... when I alter a AMBER preset... press SAVE within FUSE I get a pop-up asking where I'd like to save it to: It lists AMBER, GREEN and RED... so I pick AMBER...move to wherever and save-it.. that works fine..... but today I wanted to to preserve the GREEN and RED banks... so I grabbed 4 PRESETs from the Fuse community...and used 'open' to find and load them within Fuse..but here's my problem..."When I click SAVE" on a loaded preset, it seems to save the data to the hard-drive.. but doesn't pop-up a List... to save to AMBER, GREEN or RED - with AMBER being my hopeful target. Any help with this...appreciated... Thanks.

Now if Fender ever gets to "fix" Fuse so that you can use sub-directories on your HD, we could have a Directory (Folder to you Windows users) for each guitar/music style etc. - a bit like swapping SD cards in a G-Dec3

Hey aLinux,

It sounds like Fender FUSE is performing as expected. Once you download a Preset and load it, it still resides on your computer. If you press save it will overwrite/update the Preset with the newer saved version but it still resides on the computer. If you'd like to be asked for a save location, you'll have to copy the Preset to your amp first. When you save the amp version of the Preset you'll be asked to choose an amp location for it.

Hi ... just "right-click" the mouse on your downloaded PRESET(s) within the [Media Library] and choose "save to amp". Trust me, it took me a month and a half to
figure this out thanks to somebody on this board, I think Loren. Thanks again :)
