Hey chaotic_melody,

The Mustang amps are modeling amps. They don't really have a "clean channel". The amp models themselves are "modeled", as are the effects. You can get a very clean tone by stripping effects from some of the cleaner amp models.

The twin reverb has a real nice clean tone. Try the preset called Beauty Clean, I think its one of the green ones.

and to remove the effects from any model - Turn the Effects/Reverb both up a notch then completely OFF, for each model.

As most have said, just move the mod and dly/rev knobs one notch, and then completely off to turn off whatever effects are there. Hit "Save" and it will save the preset that way.
Agree here on the '65 Twin Reverb tones on the Mustang - amazingly good clean tones.

That's pretty standard for any modelling amplifier or multi-effects processor. It's there to show off the effects in the stores. Just turn the effects off, or go into Fuse and tweak them until they actually sound useable.

For a good clean tone, I'd use the Twin Reverb with the 65 Reverb effect (that allows you to adjust the reverb on the "amp" in Fuse) set the gain to about 2 or 3 and the channel volume all the way up. You should be able to dial in a great clean tone after that.

I got a glassy Ledbetter-like tone from adding doing the above, then adding some prescence and a bit of compression to keep it from getting too ear-shattering.
