One other thing to try ..but I know its a nusiance and time consuming.. but since you haven;t brought the AMP back.. do you have local access
to a Windows Vista/7 computer.. If so, Install the CD/Fuse to it and try that, just in case. ... I could be a bug on Mac... you never know. Hope you get it running soon...wow

Hey Kevin,

Yes, I would unplug all other USB devices. Those devices shouldn't cause a problem but I've seen stranger things happen with computers. I would also reinstall Fender FUSE. Just trash the existing app and reinstall.

Loren - Success! I reinstalled Fuse and unplugged all the other USB items and the Firmware update worked perfectly. I did the bundled version first and then the downloaded. Both worked fine. I do not know if it was the USB or the reinstall that was the problem but it works now. I'm going to reconnect all the other USB now hopefully that won't cause any problems.

Thanks to all,

Kevin King

I'm glad you got it working Kevin. I'm not sure what exactly was going on. It seems like some sort of hardware conflict. Let me know if you experience any further issues.

Thanks for your help. I'll let you know if I experience any other issues but I'm hoping it's clear sailing now.

Hi rudi,

This is an old topic about the Mustang 1, and two-year-old firmware versions, not the Mustang Floor or current firmware. You might be better starting a new topic.

Whether you reply here or create a new topic, it would be really useful if you can give more detail than just "went dead." What exactly did you do; what exactly did you observe before, during and after doing it?

As a first suggestion: if you do a "factory restore" (check the advanced owners manual for details how to do that - in essence you turn it on while holding down one of the buttons), does that get the Floor back to a working condition?
