Hi

While I have a Great FENDER amp ( MUSTANG II ) to enjoy with the FUSE Software, I am asking Has Anyone Here Created a Good Vox AC15 amp tone to use for THE SHADOWS music in their early days.
I know through the FUSE many great tones can be created even using the SAG and TUBE Bias settings.I hope someone can help Please.

Hi Ronnie. Congratualtions on an amazing purchase :) The Brtitsh 60s or
Sparkle within Fuse are the VOX Amps .. Good starter sound ..then add
some cool reverb and mild delay for a shadows sound. You be the first to
upload a preset shadows patch :D

cheers

Hi aLinux

Is the SPARKLE in the FUSE....... a VOX Tone as The Shadows started early sounds using the AC 15 which was 15watt 1x12" speaker then laterr amp was AC 30 30watt 2x12" speaker.
How could I create a AC 15 with the FUSE Tube bias & Sag..
Thanks for early reply.

Yes. Fender Sparkle aka British 60s is the Vox Tone.

Play around with it. Use midrange, less treble and some dreamy reverb
and/or delay effect(s).

Well the classic AC30 sound is with the top boost and classic AC15 sound without, so obviously that's a start. I'm unsure if any of the other differences can be compensated with FUSE. Using a 1x12" speaker may help.

Thanks Elect Mistress for that reply which of the AC 30 tones on the Mustang II would be the AC 30 without top boost.

regards

British 60s - Sparkle

but you can use anything you like ... You might even want to use the Deluxe or Twin to get there sound ..but start with what you know.. VOX
equals the British 60s Sparkle or whatever its called on the M I/II AMPs.

Shadows mostly used the 2x12 Vox .. so try that. They also used Fender Twins back then ...so play around with it too if you like.

Dude, it's going to really depend on the guitar you use. Modeling amps are extremely reactive to guitar input... you have to remember that you're using a chipset with algorithms, not a row of valves.

I have used the VOX (Brit 60's) model of the Mustang to achieve Orange-style splatter with certain guitars, but with others it becomes a chimey old Oxford.

Play with the settings, and come back to tell us how you do. Nobody here thinks that only one sound can be achieved with any given model on the 'Stang. It's a chameleon.

HI HiJinx1980
Hi aLinux

Thank you both for answering my question.
My reason for the AC 15 Tone amp is that Early Shadows tunes were on the AC 15. Then later tunes were on AC 30. They only use Fender when they had trouble with the VOX.
My Guitar I use is the Fender American Strat ( 1999 ) ver. with 57/62 Pickups .

Hopefully I get my Sound I seek.

Thanks

Ronnie
