You may have just revolutionized channel-switching forever...Clap On/Clap-Off! Could be a problem at the end of every tune, though. Depending if you're any good or not...

Actually.. you can use three patches in a live situation without touching the amp.
Start with one that's not assigned, then use the foot switch to go to your other two saved presets.
I don't think I would upgrade.. I'm pretty happy with the M II. I'll use my pedal board for effects.

Old guy not making sense here :?
You start off with your 1st patch when turning on the amp.
I.e. tweed
then use the foot switch to go between your two saved presets.
That's what I meant... sorry for the confusion.

No no ... you made sense, at least at the time I read it.. but... does it " really make sense " ... so later I thought about it, [ON/OFF]... (if it was an [ON/ON/OFF] makes more sense.. ..but in the end, it becomes senseless :) but it was a good idea  had me thinking with my big brain

Hey Guys,

There are no plans for a 4 button footswitch for the Mustang amps at this time.

Loren

Thanks, Loren, figured as much. The MIII ends up being the real gigging amp then.

An 4-Button F/S for my Mustang II would be awesome. :(

With the two button foot switch you can save two presets to "green" and "red" banks and have the underlying unassigned "yellow" for a total of three different settings I think ..its already been mentioned (close enough to 4 button :).

I was farting around with my pedal ... not a foot switch ... its ..loop bypass thing (i think) ..i forget ..but it allows 3 ...so just an off/on switch will give you ... (Note: I couldn't actually switch and hear anything..but could just program and watch the color display) as this isin't the correct pedal, it is an on/off switch but it has 4 plug-ins for taking certain things out of the loop...I think i bought to use with bunch of guitar effects and to see what they sound like in the loop even though there all turned off... anyhow it showed.

1. unassigned (first setting) ..I still chose it. (yellow)
2. whatever I choose (green)
3. whatever I choose (red)

Great point aLinux. That allows you to use 3 presets instead of 2.
