http://www.music123.com/product/Mustang ... 85.product

What's of note is that it has a number of features people were looking for; namely an effects loop($@!& yes), expanded footswitch options(2 button and 4 button), open back configuration and a proper headphone out.

Apart from that though; why is it using a guitar speaker? Speaker sims sound horrible going into guitar speakers, generally. Are speaker sims going to be disabled for the internal speaker? That's disappointing. No new amps either, though this could change.

It's also 36lbs, which is significantly heavier than the II. I'm not sure if it's worth it or not, to be honest. It's probably constructed better with that kind of weight. Apparently they have the same appearance as the smaller models to.

The IV and VHD are there too, but are identical aside from speakers and wattage.

How did you call up the IV and V there? Search doesn't work.

Got em to come up by adding "Music 123" to the search string.

I'd love the 2x12 75 watter .. in stereo with effects.. yummy .. but I hope they keep the same speakers thats in the MII ..i dont want heavy-weight
tone sucking celestions ...(j/k) bout' the tone part ...or even try Jensen C12R's or anything lightweight that match whats in it already tone-wise.

G12T-100 freq response curve:

Hardly an FRFR. This raises some fairly interesting issues! A typical 2-way FRFR as Fender uses in the Stang II looks like this:

So hey Loren, explain to us how a modeler wants its output put into a zany, highly distorted non-linear response output guitar speaker as opposed to an FRFR.

We have to assume the output of all these amps comes pre-modeled and tweaked, ready for a monitor/PA/recording. In other words, all these amps ideally would use an FRFR driver. So how can you simply stick a spiky made-for-guitar-amp speaker in a flat-response output modeler amp??? Makes no sense.

Yeah sorry Fender, but if this is true, you've lost a sale. That's just dumb.

I'm hoping it's some kind of typo since the information isn't finalised.

...and once again this gets reposted with no link back to who originally found it.

I'm not posting stuff anymore if this is going to happen, normally I wouldn't give a $@!& but it's really annoying me now since the last time it got reposted on several different gear forums linking back to the TGP posts and not here.

To be fair, I don't think this was done intentionally. I just think it was not the person's "style", shall we say... I'd let it slide if you could...

I wouldn't have minded so much if it wasn't for the first time actually copying my post word for word and using it without saying who wrote it. That was a $@!&* move.

There should at least be a link back to these forums, as this is where most of the stuff is found first.

I agree. But the real question is, now that you know the specs of the amps, is there one that you like and is going to fit in your apartment? :)
