This also happened to me, exactly the same, and i appreciated some community member's advices...... Just turn down the gain, also a bit the volume.... and your guitar volume (play changing between pickups also). You will see it will sound a way better. For example use the In bloom preset uploaded to fuse presets webpage as an example of what I'm saying. take care.

What volumes we speaking of ... between say 1-4 or like 5-7 ..or does it matter??

If you're only use to playing solid state amps, (exempt a few), than your probably custom to that one tone (tight distortion/clean) sound that most Tube AMP guy's could barely stand. You might just need to get used to it... but believe me... its worth getting used to... Try to forget your playing thru SS and imagine the (break-up err "muddy-waters" warm spongy even sound across all strings) :D is caused by a really high-end Valve Tube AMP. I know it isn't but try to think differently...and I'm sure it will start to open up.

As for head-phones... I'm still waiting for mine... but head-phone always sound better for TV, Computers, etc... but ...Now try to imagine you never used head-phones (amp sounds great again, doesn't it ) I'm joking now lol.
