Hi,

I got a new Mustang II and was reading through the manual, and it seemed to me that you can modify the amp type when storing user presets. For example, I can do this:

1. Select British 80s Amp model
2. Select some mod and delay/reverb setting
3. Save the setting to the green Super-sonic preset

What this means is that now I have a setting stored in the super-sonic preset that sounds like a British 80s Amp. Is this true? It seems somewhat unintuitive.

You certainly can store amp types that are different from the label on the preset. WIthout a computer hooked up then you have to remember what's where.

You can store any type of Preset to whatever Preset slot you wish. There are 24 storage slots on the amp. You don't want to be limited to storing Presets where we think they should go, do you? What if you only played blues and had no use for Metal Presets. You can easily save some blues Presets over the Metal 2000 locations.

I did what John suggested. I added more of the Fender and Vox amps. I got rid of the high gain metal models.
Store and edit them with Fuse is super easy
