I was sitting around thinking about the upcoming holidays and my trip back to the Carolinas. Then I remembered last years trip when I took a 2X12 combo with me and how much room it took up in the car. So I decided that there was no way I was going to throw my Twin into the car for that trip and shopped around for about 5 seconds for a small combo practice amp. Thank God that Fender had those Mustang amps advertised so well on the website for the longest time. Anyway, it took no time at all to call up the local GC and pick one up. Great little practice amp. I haven't had too much of a chance to really play with it yet but I like the FUSE software and the tone of 57 Tweed and the Bassman. I can see me and this little amp having a lot of fun once I get all of its functions down.

But I have a question for you guys. How do I run AmpliTube? The software is installed correctly. The program runs correctly. My question is that since the software came with the Mustang, am I still supposed to run it with the guitar plugged into the amp and the amp hooked up to the computer via the USB cable? Or do I need something else to run it? I have been reading the manual and started watching some videos about it but haven't seen just yet how it is supposed to be hooked up.

Hey dvlsadvc8t,

Here's a KB article that explains the setup for AmpliTube Fender LE and Ableton Live Lite 8 Fender Edition step by step. Your Mustang can be used as the input audio interface for both programs.

Thank-you Loren. I will read up on that as soon as I get a chance. I'm sure I just need to tweak a few settings and I'll be good to go.

Loren, I tried following those directions but found a big snag from the very beginning. I have the current versions of AmpliTube and the Universal ASIO Driver installed. Problem is that under Input Channel, I don't have the Mustang amp showing up. I Uninstalled Amplitube and reinstalled it. I Uninstalled the ASIO Driver and reinstalled it. After all of that, the Mustang Amp still does not show up as an Input Channel.

Edit: Got it. Everything suddenly showed up.
