I am a Proud Owner of the new Fender Mustang 2 amp.
I started to use the Fuse Program to download presets and I saved a Preset to my Amp Before I backed up all the Factory Presets.
Is there a Way to do a Factory Reset.
Or is there somewhere to download the Factory installed Preset that seems to be now lost?

Thanks

JIM from Jersey

From the advanced manual:

"To restore the Mustang amplifier to factory settings:

1. Turn the amplifier OFF.
2. Press and hold the EXIT button while turning the amplifier ON. Continue holding the EXIT button until it is no longer illuminated.

The FACTORY RESTORE function will erase all user modified presets. It will also restore the AMBER bank of presets and any effect selections that have been modified using Fender FUSE software."

Also, the preset you overwrote is most likely on the FUSE site at https://fuse.fender.com/index.php?amp=mustang.

Hello. I just got the Fender Mustang 1. For some reason, I did not read the manual before mucking around with it. Now, when I did the instructions to do the factory reset, it doesn't work. Please help.

Hey userlook,

Are you sure the preset data isn't being reset? To test it, you should create an extreme preset in one of the slots and see if it's still there after the restore.

Yes. I know whats wrong with it. Mine does the same thing. True is, these amps are glitchy. Mine is a total piece of junk. It hisses, it switches models in the middle of playing, and totally cuts out if i turn the amp past 6. Im sticking with class a tube amps.

I don't think most of the Mustang II's are glitchy. I'm really happy with mine and have had no problems with it.

I can't say what is wrong with your amp, but it sounds like you will need some help from Fender support. That's not normal behavior.

ok, you want my opinion? the Fender Mustang II is a piece of $@!&! There's no other fair way go describe it. It's made of "toy" parts, it has ZERO tones and anyone that's ever even heard a "REAL" amp would laugh at it and then throw it in the garbage!!! And that's me being nice!
