I attempted to redeem my Ableton and AmpliTube coupons, but I get an error message indicating that the amp serial no does not appear to be legit. I have checked it, reentered it, and substituted O's for zeros where that might be the problem. The profile button still returns a message that the serial no does not appear to be a good one. Any ideas?

Thanks!

Do you mean that when you try to register your amp under your Fender FUSE Community account (separate from your account for this forum), it's telling you that your amp's serial # is invalid, or are you trying to use your amp's serial # as the authorization codes for Amplitube and Ableton? If it's the latter, see here: http://www.fender.com/community/forums/ ... hp?t=44095. If it's the former, I'm sure Loren Howard from Fender will get back to you soon.

Thanks, JCW. I registered my amp when setting up a Fuse profile and then clicked the green "Redeem" button for Ableton and Amplitube. The system's response was that the serial no appeared to be invalid.

Hey Stratosphoria,

When you have a chance can you send us an email containing your amp model, serial, and contact info? We'll take a look and try to get it working for you.

Loren

I got that error message when I tired to redeem using lower case letters. Try upper case.

I had the same issue. Apparently the Mustang Serial Numbers are usually 4 letters an 8 numbers but in my case there were only 7 numbers. I reported it to support and they were surprised to see a picture of my serial number.

The good news is the amp is legit and all I had to do to get my software serial numbers was add a zero to the 7 numbers and everything went through ok.

Give it a try and let me know if it works.

Thanks to everyone for their help. Fender quickly resolved my issue. Interestingly, the correct serial number appeared on the shipping box, but the number on the back of the amp was missing a character.

So, if you're having an issue with your amp, I might suggest comparing the serial number on the unit to the one on the shipping box (if you have one).

Thanks to Loren and to Alan at the the Fender Technology Support Lab for their excellent assistance.
