I'm relocating to Germany. Will I have any trouble operating my US spec Mustang II on a transformer? I beleive the transformer corrects the voltage, but doesn't correct the 50hz issue.

Will my amp work alright?

regards,

I don't see why not? You'll be wasting power though unless it's a really good transformer.

Hi Todd,

You shouldn't have a problem doing what you're trying to do. The amp can operate at 50Hz. However, you should check with the manufacturer of the transformer to verify that it can supply power within the operating range of the Mustang.

Thank you for the reply Loren. The voltage isn't a problem, the output is in the specified range. My concern was how the amp would operate at 50 hz.

Regards,
