I had the opportunity to use a Mustang II last night at a local blues jam. The guy who brought it suggested I give it a try and I was really impressed. It's amazing that you can now buy an amp for $200 that has that much tone. I mostly used the tweed and bassman settings and found it easily cut through the mix even with a pretty loud drummer. While it's a nice amp on its own it would also be a great backup to your tube amp. It packed a lot of tone in a lightweight package. Hopefully they turn out to be well engineered and hold up to steady use. For the price it seemed pretty solid.

I could see a Mustang on a stand, with a secureley mounted laptop/mousepad next to it, and a guitarist using the FUSE gui
to good effect on stage. Probably bypassing the speaker (bye bye warranty)
and use a cab situated per the needs of the band/venue.
I use mine every day, right angle connectors highly recommended.
Cheers

Dude, that's my dream set up for my Mustang II. On stage, with a laptop, I would have access to what, a bazillion tones...?!
