I wonder what you're gone to put in this next two models. I've found the firmware update files on the program folder for that models and I'll be prayer to you do not augment the weight on model III :-)
Just the LINE-OUT socket and whatever new mambo you have for that upgrades...

Is this true? $@!&, I may wait for the III. If it means more wattage and more features that'd be great.

Please make the III a 1x12 with an effects loop, and the same dimensions as the the II! Just increase the features :)

More folks are seeing references to the III and IV in the firmware updates. Must be 75-100 watts with many more features. Maybe even a head version.

Where can I see these "references"?

They could be out by Christmas knowing fender. The Mustangs were released like a week after.

Can you email me the file? I don't seem to have it. I want to take a look as it should be possible to find any additional features in it that are named with text.

EDIT: Okay, I think I found it in the older update. Unfortunately, I cannot see any reference to more amps than the ones in the I and II.

I find this kind of annoying. I like the models on it but I was hoping at least to get the Sunn models from the GDEC.

However the .upd file does also reference a Mustang V. Also, the file for the III/IV/V is much larger than the one for the I/II. The III et. all seem to be the "High" models, yet have all the same models and effects? Seems odd.

Don't know what to think.

Actually there seems to be a few new weird labels for the III/IV/V.

There's an entry "Custom" "Hz" "Less" "More" "M0D 1 2 - - 2 3 1 - 3 1 2 3", "sine", "User" that isn't present for the I and II.

My guesses:

Mustang III -

1x12" 80 Watt

Mustang IV -

2x12" 120 Watt

Mustang V -

120 Watt Head

Hopefully they'll all feature effects loops and expanded footswitches.

My guesses:

Mustang III - 2x12 60 watt
Mustang IV - 4x12 100 watt

Expanded foot switches would make sense but I would also hope that they would also work with the I and II amps as well.

Backing Tracks and at least a 30 sec Looper. I'm ready to order one now.

I really don't want the III to be 2x12. That's too big to fit in my apartment and too heavy to take to gigs. They should be trying to make these as compact as possible.

And a 4x12 combo would be absurd.

How about a single 15 inch speaker. A 15 inch really opens up the sound. That would rock!

While we're dreaming, how about a head unit and a selection of cabs to choose from. 8)
