Hi, I just got my Mustang II and I'm wondering which software to install and in which order. Should I install the Fuse from the cd or the latest one found from here?

Install the online version. Be prepared...it's a big file and takes awhile to download.

Hi, what I did
Install IE8 and XP service pack 3
Download and install Fuse 2
Install Fender asio driver from the CD
Start theFuse application

At this point, within Fuse, 3 things I did

Create an account
Then the option of registering the Amplitube and Ableton software.

There are a couple times promted to restart the computer.
After I registered the software, I restarted Fuse, and plugged
in the Mustang. A firmware update dialogue opened, and the onscreen
help walked smoothly through the process I did read the manual first,
just for luck.

I think I restarted Fuse again :? but from then on, it all worked
Cheers

It is quite a process to get evrything going and working , why would you make it so you need 2 different Fender accounts ? Just seems a bit of a hassle to have Fuse and the forums be two different logins with registration in both?

Hi, probably there are totally separate servers, so if a hack or hardware failure occurs on one, the other will still see action. The Fuse forum also requires a more secure password, a good design decision. Some people will
like separate niks, while some use the same one on lots of forums.
Cheers
