What are the additional effects offered through Fuse for the Mustang Amps? I haven't yet purchased one, otherwise I would find out, and was curious.

Try this FUSE demo video, but I don't know the Mustang extras as compared to the Gdec-3, or if they are the same.

Thanks Sixline. I know there are different/additional amp options for the mustang verses the gdec through fuse—was wondering if the same thing applied to the effects or if Fender left it the same.

Got mine uncaged now, there are 4 slots in Fuse for insert effects, shown in the gui as various stompboxes, and four slots for send fx, drawn as rackmount units. I could drag them from one side to the other, and they appear to be the same ones, but drawn differently, but since there are dropdown menus available for each, to choose sound options, I was busy enjoying the fine sounds, rather than taking notes, so I'll edit this for detail. Turning the amp preset selector shows the gear included in the presets, so its quick editing, or adding more by clicking in an empty slot.
Cheers

This new youtube link sheds some more light on fuse and effects. sounds great. I can't believe what you get for $199. How'd Fender do it?

That video is a good look at Fuse, and the price is set to grab folks quick.
I think Fender will sell gazillions. Even a kid with his first part-time job can
buy a worldclass sound system with that first paycheck :)

Hi Loren, is there any way you can help out with some additional info on the effects offered on the mustang through fuse? Are there more, the same, or different than what you get with a gdec? Thanks in advance.

Hi, here are the Mustang fx (and 'Advanced Amp' items) as listed in the dropdown menus and panels.
Each chosen fx has five appropriate knobs:

Stomp Pedal has

Overdrive
Fixed Wah
Touch Wah
Fuzz
Fuzz Touch Wah
Simple Comp
Compressor

Modulation Pedal has

Sine Chorus
Triangle Chorus
Sine Flanger
Vibratone
Vintage Tremolo
Sine Tremolo
Ring Modulator
Step Filter
Phaser
Pitch Shifter

The Delay Pedal has

Mono Delay
Mono Echo Filter
Stereo Echo Filter
Multi-tap Delay
Ping Pong Delay
Reverse Delay
Tape Delay
Stereo Tape Delay

The reverb pedal has

Small Hall reverb
Large Hall reverb
Small Room reverb
Large Room reverb
Small Plate reverb
Large Plate reverb
Ambient reverb
Arena reverb
'63 Fender Spring reverb
'65 Fender Spring reverb

Advanced Amp section

Cabinets

57DLX
BSSMN
65DLX
65PRN
CHAMP
4x12M
2x12C
4x12G
65TWN
4x12V
SS212
SS112

noisegate

low
mid
high
super
custom

dials for thresh/depth/blend

SAG

dial for
less
matched
more

BIAS dial for

-50% - 50%

The stomps are both insert, and send, the sends being drawn as rack gear on the right, inserts drawn as stomp pedals on the left. It appears that you cannot have a single device as both an insert and a send, nor multiple
instances of the same fx. I posted a feature request to change this.
I'm very happy with the results so far, but always greedy for more 8)
Cheers

Hey, thanks sixline! Thats exactly what I was looking for. Looks to be the same as what gdec 3 owners get. I was saving up for a gdec but figure I'll save 200 bucks and work around not having a looper, sd card and rca outs. Thanks again for posting the fx lists, it really helped solidify my decision.

Hi, get a cable that is RCA outs (or what you need) on one end, with a right angle 1/8 stereo plug at the other. A vertical adaptor will put stress on the input jack, and tripping amidst a usb cable, guitar cable, and headphones cable is all too easy.
Plus wraparounds on rolling chairs   It also will ease using the editing knob right next to to the jack.
(The good Professor from 'Back To The Future' would feel right at home
in my little studio!

Cheers 8)
