When might the Mustang II become available in Australia? Nothing on Fender Australia's site.

Hi jbloggs,

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. I have checked things out here. It looks like we will need to direct you to our Australia offices. They control their shipping and receiving time frames, etc. You can find contact information for them here: http://www.fender.com.au/contact_us.php

Once you get your Fender Mustang, please let us know if we can be of any further assistance. We will be glad to help.

Best Regards,

My local music shop today told me that the Mustang amps will be displayed at AIMS (Australian International Music Show) in Melbourne this coming weekend (2nd/3rd Oct), but that no details of availability yet.

Just rent a variety of 'loading dock worker' costumes, and show up early as
the temp hired to move the display amps inside

I wonder if The Gladiator and his band will be on stage?

sixline,

the show i in Melbourne, I'm in Sydney. Only a "short" trip - about 10 or 12 hours drive. State here in Australia are a little bit larger than in the USA.

Just checked local shop ( and others on Web). Seems Mustang still not available even though they're on Fender Oz website - Fender Oz by the way do not answer emails.

Anybody seen a Mustang I or II in Australia?

No I havent seen them in oz.

I have to speak to Billyhyde later this week so I will query it with them.

I suspect it is being delayed because it will cause massive damage to other ranges that the big retailers carry (think any amp under AU$200). So it will probably arrive after xmas.
