Just noticed the new look to the Fuse site. Also, noticed in the small text under the header the mentioning of a Mustang amp. What's that? It's also a choice in the drop down menu in the upper right hand corner. Can someone enlighten me?

I've just come across these amps on a random youtube search for Fender Mustang. It appears that there are two models - The Fender Mustang 1 Amp (20W) and Mustang II Amp (40w). They are tied in with the Fender Fuse software. Interesting

Pretty cool. I wouldn't mind having one for the computer and practice.
How much? Does anyone know?

Of course I've never even tried out a DEC of any model either.

Thanks for the vid! Looks like the new version of the GDEC Jr. Very nice! I like the 12" speaker and the fact there are eq knobs on the front panel. Hope the price is a bit lower than the GDEC 3-30 or 15. Seems like a nice option. Is there a looper, backing tracks?

The Mustang I & II are $149 & $279 respectively and have 24 amp models and 24 effects each.I looked all over the specs etc. to see what amps they modeled but couldn't find any info.It would be nice to know whether or not they went outside the Fender range of amps to get models.A lot of people would like to have models of amps along with Fender to broaden their range of sonic possibilities.Vox although they don't name any specific amps or brands make it obvious enough from the descriptions which amps they are emulating and Fender should and/or could do the same.

Street price is $99/199 at GC

57 Deluxe
59 Bassman
65 Twin Reverb
British 60s
Britich 80s
American 90s
Supersonic
Metal 2000

Looks like three catagories of each of these presets and of course all of the changes you can make with the sofware. I think I have all of these covered with Amplitube 2 and Amplitube Fender.

My Mustang II loves some axes (330/Dan U2), hates others (RGX A2). Overall it's a triumph for Fender. And should cannibalize a lot of Blues/Pro Jr., SCXD and G-DEC 3 sales. Especially at $175 which is what some online retailers are selling it for.

You can gig this amp at 40 watts/12". It's 24 lbs. Two channels. Infinitely tweakable. Sounds great.

The Cyber II engine is finally approaching tube-equity. Guys have suggested a hybrid Mustang III/tube power section. I'm not sure it needs it, frankly. The old Cyber engine did, the SCXD needs them awesome 6V6s for warmth and harmonic richness and sag/responsiveness.

The 'Stangs? Not so much. They stand on their own, tubes be damned.

Hi, if you spend some time going
through the gear in the fuse dropdown menus for each device, and get familiar with those sounds you like, you will find yourself making new
presets that make you smile, pick, and strum. You can download and install FUSE without the amp, and see how you like the workflow and options, you just won't have anything to listen to!
The demos on youtube tend to be similar, but the range of sounds is much broader. If you play expressively, the sounds will be there for you :)
Cheers
