I have a Mustang III v2. I desire to run BOTH a compressor and and overdrive on it. But both of those are grouped within "Stomp" pedals, so only 1 or the other is permitted.
I can get around this by plugging in a "real" tube screamer, which I have on hand, to the Mustang. Then I can select a compressor on the on-screen mustang menu.
But, reading that a compressor should be first and the overdrive next, which one is getting priority in this setup?
One of you very technically saavy guys are sure to know the answer!
Is there a way to modify the priority short of purchasing a compressor pedal if the tube screamer is ahead in the line?

it "Should" be first... but who knows what the firmware is really doing in the "modeling" aspect..

I've got a MIII V1, and at the risk of going off track, I've never been impressed with the built in one.

An external compressor (IMHO) was much more "to the point" and effective in my experience. of course, everyone hears something a little different, so YMMV...
