Just wanted to show off the custom cab I made for my Mustang I V2. I also replaced the Chinese 8" speaker with a Jensen MOD10 30W speaker.
I'm pretty sure I voided the warranty, but I think it sounds much better than stock. It matches my Blues DeVille (Tweed) which I can't use as a practice amp without the sheriff's dept showing up at my house.

OK - probably more than you wanted ...
Here are the cab parts cut to size:

Assembled cab. I used pocket screws and a wood glue for the joints:

Front baffle is 1/2 inch birch plywood:

Size comparison to original Mustang I:

Here is the Jensen MOD10 mocked-up in the baffle:

I wanted front facing controls instead of top facing, so I threw caution to the wind and cut the small chassis lengthwise, being careful not to damage the mainboard or amplifier circuit. I made sure to ground the 2 halfs together in final assembly. Not sure, but I think I might have voided the warrenty (/sarc):

Mock-up of the front panel:

Cut the opening for the front panel in the baffle:

Back panel with the 110VAC receptacle which was cannibalized from the original cab:

I used Tee Nuts for mounting the speaker. I used a dremel with a small router bit to make them flush with the front of the baffle. I then painted it black to look better behind the grill cloth:

Here the oxblood grill cloth is being applied:

Front baffle complete with the Jensen MOD10 mounted:

Now time for the Tolex which has a tweed pattern:

I carefully layed-out where to put the contact cement and "wrapped" the cab starting from the top so the only seam is down the middle of the bottom. I took my time to get nice, clean seams in the corners:

Some final wiring and then attaching the back:

The badges and rubber feet were cannibalized from the original cab and I added a carrying strap. Shown next to my Fender Blues DeVille 4X10:
