Hello everybody! First of all I have to say that I'm a beginner, so sorry if my questions seem stupid :)
I play harmonica and a few years ago a friend of mine was selling his guitar+amp pretty cheap, so I got it, thinking that I could learn guitar and amplify my harp at the same time.
A couple of years passed, life getting in the way and the guitar and the amp gathered dust, but I finally got round to learning the guitar and was thinking of buying a microphone for my harp. (a shure SM58 seems to be a good option according to my research).

So here's my question: can I actually plug a microphone such as an SM58 into the Mustang II v1? I understand I'll need an adapter for the XLR cable, but do I get a 6.5 jack adapter or a mini jack adapter? And if I can plug it in the mini jack (aux input, I guess it's called?), can I still play the guitar in the main input? Or will the sounds of both instruments collide and everything will sound wrong/explode?

Will the sound be any good? I'm not a pro by any means, so I'm not looking for the best sound in the world, just doing it for fun, and I'd just like to know if it will work ok and not destroy the amp or god knows what.

I really do know nothing about amplifiers, and music in general, so I'm looking forward to your enlightening thoughts :) cheers!
