Hi, I want to change my default start up preset from 00 to 90. How do I do that. 90 is the preset I use all the time, love it. 00 is horrible sounding to my ears, and if you leave the volume on by mistake, some ungodly feedback noises come out when you turn it on and you feel kinda unprofessional. I love the Mustang iii v.2. I have 4 of them. Use them live and in studios in Georgia and Florida all the time. I want to turn it on and preset 90 (which is 65 Twin Reverb) come up instead of preset 00. Hopefully my question is clear, and Thanks!

I think they always start up with preset 00.
So two suggestions:
1. Save a soft, clean, setting such as Studio PreAmp or Princeton as 00.
Then once you've turned it on, navigate to 90. You would do that if there are other settings near 90 that you switch between.
or
2. In setting 90, make a tiny change, then save it as 00.
or
3. Save your favorite as 00 and your other good presets as 01, 02, 03...

as stephen mentions, you can't change the power on preset, it will always be 00.

If you have not done so, turn off memory lock, (in the Util pages/settings) then when you set on preset 90, press save, (save will lite RED) and scroll to 00, press save again, now preset 90 is also in 00 and that will always be the start up preset on power up.

there really are some God awful sounding factory presets..
