Hello all.
I have a laptop with windows 7 professional. Fuse looks great until I connect the amp (Mustang 1 ver 2.)
The instant I do I receive a "Fuse has stopped working" pop up with the following little message.

Problem signature:
Problem Event Name: CLR20r3
Problem Signature 01: fuseserver.exe
Problem Signature 02: 2.7.1.48
Problem Signature 03: 52ec3857
Problem Signature 04: FUSEServer
Problem Signature 05: 2.7.1.48
Problem Signature 06: 52ec3857
Problem Signature 07: 72
Problem Signature 08: d
Problem Signature 09: System.TypeInitialization
OS Version: 6.1.7600.2.0.0.256.48
Locale ID: 2057.

Trolling through the internet has yielded much advice! So far I have
Uninstalled and re installed: Fuse itself: the mustang drivers: the ASIO UNIVERSAL DRIVERS.
I have also tried to update the installed drivers (from fuse) with the Asio drivers.
I have installed a patch from Microsoft that reportedly cured some plug and play driver issues.
As far as the laptop is concerned I have updated the .net framework, and repaired the .net framework

The same copy of fuse works with a windows 10 machine (not allowed to use that one) and and old xp laptop with no screen( have to put it through the telly also not allowed).
Does anyone have any ideas. The laptop is owned by work so updating it to 10 is not an option.
I have been trying for about a week now and am getting a bit fed up.
Ta

It could be multiple instances of .net are installed, and wrestling for control,
as msoft allow popular programs to install whatever version they like.
Thin the herd, but take notes. The Silverlight version is also
worth checking. Have you tried a fresh installing/running Fuse as administrator?

What happens when the amp is connected and on already before turning on the computer?
Also check in both user and administrator mode?
Cheers

Yes I have tried running as admin. I also tried every possible connection switch on combination with no luck. I also uninstalled silverlight and let it get installed with fuse. I have also updated the firmware.
I think its a driver issue as the amp is detected but labeled an "unspecified device". I have seen this issue with fuse and win 7 quite a lot and no thread (I have seen) has resolved the issue save the one with the patch, (already tried). It seems it nearly always works, but if it doesn't it doesn't. I think that some security software put on this laptop may inhibit the creation of the necessary drivers in system 32. Anyway I'm giving up now. There is enough choice on the amp anyway . Thanks for trying

Have you tried to reinstall Silver Light? Sometimes that is the culprit?
