Oh, there is a blues by Joe Pass, transcription available,
I am willing to spend the next 6 months to learn that tune...

This is all that matters right now

there is some thing wrong with you dude, and I have no idea what it is.

I was trying to help, and have a moderatly sane discussion with you,, this does not seem possible.

As the only response from you is ridiculous accusations and personal attacks.

I guarantee you that I've forgotten stuff about music, gear and instruments that you will never even know..

I've been working as a musician professionally for over 40 years, and playing for 50.

I aint got time or the patience for your silliness. You are a troll.. I will never again reply to one of your posts..

now, don't go away mad...

just...

go.. away...

have a nice day... dh..

[God this forum sucks sometimes]

Don't lose any sleep dude. I can smell a troll a thousand miles away. <g> Anyway line outs panned hard left and hard right into mixing board for stereo. I didn't even read what he wrote after his third or fourth post but even trolls need food and I appreciate your philanthropy. :P

Peace guys. We are all musicians here. If we were in the same band, there would probably be disagreements but, at some point, we have to shake hands, let it go, and get back to making music. How about doing that now? :)

And I am not? I reached out to help the original poster like I always do if i have something to add to their problem or concern. Wasted time let me tell you many times.

KidBlast did nothing to deserve an apology. In fact he was righteous on all levels. What happened peacemaker was Harold intervened who is probably scottenrotten and disparaged both of us. You making everything all good is only embracing bad behavior.

I guess you do not believe in spanking which I am on the fence with but it is offensive for you to come into a thread which you obviously know nothing about and just say peace.

What if that person wants to kill you? I am sorry and I appreciate your tonality but the only thing you are standing for is bad behavior.

I have said my peace and may God bless you.

HIO, thank you for your kind words regarding this.

I've been on this board for some time now, you always have good contributions here. I'm sure Marky did not intend to create any more bad feelings

Marky, thanks, My mistake was bending down to another members level, it's like arguing with your kids, there's no point in it. I should have taken the high road right off.

Ok. that said.. moving on...

HIO - I hope you feel better after voicing your thoughts. I don't condone bad behavior but I dismiss it as being destructive, negative and irrelevant, at least in this setting. I invite you to do the same. If Harald was a close friend and he said those things I would look at it differently and take it seriously but he is a stranger so who cares? He doesn't know the real you so don't let him throw you. I've been playing for over fifty years and met all types of people. Stay strong brother and God bless you. :)

Back on topic, I found after going through a million changes that I learned a lot about how to use effects. And I was able to experiment with effects more because I usually don't have all these effects on hand to try out.

Now I've got it down to one really good single clean channel and I use a pedal board in front of it. No hours of tweaking because it always sounds good.

I have to say, it's uncanny how "real" it sounds now. When I first got the amp, the speaker sounded tight (not in a good way) and a little shrill. After a couple of years it started to sound better and I though it was broken in. But now after about 5 years, the speaker has taken on a new life. Either that, or the last round of tweaks I made were magical.

In all the time it took to try out the various settings, I never felt cheated out of practice time. In fact, knowing how to use your amp is a big part of playing electric guitar.
