Hey guys,
I've got a quick question.

Has anyone ever tried running bass through a Mustang Mini.
I need a battery powered amp to go Christmas Carolling in the next week or two.
I have a buddy that has a Mini.

It's either try a Mini or go out and purchase a BlackStar Fly 3 bass amp.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

A bass on a so small ( guitar ) speaker !!

IMO you"ll hear lots of distortion by speaker
You may destroy speaker,

Yes. I would advise against this. If you turn it up you definitely will risk losing the 6.5 inch speaker and with that little tiny speaker you will not get a good bass response.

Do they even make or sell that bad boy beast anymore? <g>

Nope, so don't do it. :)

LOL!!! I think the BlackStar Fly 3 bass amp has a 3 inch speaker but probably protected somewhat.

May I suggest getting some inexpensive car stereo sub woofer of right size and replacing stock speaker? I did that for friend with micro cube and seems to work fine. Little bit of rattle, but what the hey.
Tried one of those Fly 3 bass amps other day, and was pleasantly surprised. Not gonna shake anyone's guts, but that it sounds passable is quite a feat I think.
