Hi guys! I have an idea and wonder if it would work - feedback greatly appreciated!
I use the Mustang for many gigs but sometimes need to use a regular amp and pedal board. If i come out of the effects send on the main amp and into the effects return of the Mustang and then take a line out of the Mustang to the PA would I still get a "speaker compensated " sound out front? And would it sound good?
Using the Mustang on it's own this way is excellent but not sure if the speaker compensation would work well with a 3rd party amp as described above - has anyone tried this?
What I'm trying to do is this - 3 piece band with amp on each side of the stage ( so the bass player can hear me) and line out to the PA for maximum spread of sound. It's not a volume thing - just want a big wide sound for a 3 piece band!
Thanks in advance guys!

I have heard that using the effects loop on the Mustang 3 bypasses the built-in effects making them of course non-usable. I have not personally tried this yet as I just bought my Mustang III today at GC. I will be watching this post to see if anyone out there has an idea if this will work. I love the idea I hope it does work out.

Changing the Mustang's Menu Button's Looper Menu setting from "Normal" to "Looper" alters the FX Loop signal chain I/O position from before the cab sim to after the cab sim. See Fender's Block Diagram in the Mustang support area, or find it on the Mustang Wikia. Only you can determine whether you like the sound from the other speakers.

Also bear in mind that the Mustang's Celestion speaker is not FRFR. The speakers in your PA and other Amps are likely to be voiced and respond differently than the Mustang's.

Does FRFR mean full range?
