Moto G uses a microUSB B.
I have a USB 3.0 adapter USB A female both sides.
Using the cable that came with the Mustang into the adapter.
A microUSB B cable to a USB A male in the other side of the adapter. No go.
All cables work individually hooked up to the PC, perfect condition.

What can I do to get the Moto G running Remuda to talk to the Mustang? What is the solution?

When will we get Remuda for Windows?

Wallybeav,

From what I am able to discover about the Moto G smartphone, it has the same common Micro USB jack as many other android phones of that 2013/2014 vintage.

A USB OTG (On The Go) Micro to USB adapter cable is what you need to connect to your phone. Connect the Fender provided USB cable to the adapter. Connect the Mini USB end of the Fender cable to the Mustang.

If you need a longer cable run (than the Fender USB cable + USB OTG adapter), a USB Extension cable may be used between the Fender USB cable and the OTG adapter. I can tell you from experience, that a USB Extension cable any longer than about 12 or 15 feet will degrade the phone's Host Hode USB signal and may not work in conjunction with the Fender provided USB cable.

REMUDA's Developer has never indicated any intention to bring REMUDA to Windows. Feel free to email him your suggestion.

Sure makes sense to me. Which is pretty much what I have, unsuccessful. I'm just using a female to female USB adapter and the cables that normally work to connect my phone to the PC and the Fender provided cable. That should work, but nada. I'll just get an the micro to USB adapter and let the chips lie.

I suppose the developer is one of the millions Android developers sellin' his wares.

It's Fender that needs to provide usability to their software and hardware free or charge, based off the obvious demand. I sure enjoy the hardware.

Thanks for responding.

The missing key is the OTG Adapter!

You'll be all set once you use the proper cables.

The female to female cable may be the problem.

There was a recent thread here on the Fender Forums diagramming the required pinouts of the Host OTG adapter.

I see the OTG designates an extra ground connection. I see that.

Thanks

It's a USB standard to improve the buss with multiple protocols. Including host/slave utilizing 3.0. Ya learn something new everyday. If ya don't stay on top of this stuff, ya get left behind.

It certainly can be confusing!

And, the latest USB C format connections that may be plugged in regardless of how the plug is oriented do not resolve matters entirely. Nothwithstanding USB C's attempt to standardize the port and plug connector format, some of the recent USB C implementations are limited to USB 2 spec compliance; others are fully USB 3 compliant. At least some, of the newer devices are coming with adapters to suport use of existing USB Micro and USB 3 cables
Looking forward to your posting how things work once you get the OTG.

Worked perfectly. It's nice to have a very portable graphic control over the amp.

There are wish lists for the app, but much better than Fuse.

Thanks MusicLaw.

Glad you're up and running!

Email any WishList items to the Developer.
