Understood both things you mentioned. I do have the 4 button foot switch as I just bought the Mustang IV. I'll try it when I get home from work. I only plugged in the foot switch to see if it turned on so far. I'll see if I can figure out how to get a preset to Quick Access when I get out of work.

Thanks!

So I think I follow your question...

it's not saving them to the pedal persay,

the 2 button pedal gives you 2 Quick Access presets. (QA1/QA2) in the "settings" part of the firmware's Util pages (eg: press the Util button on the amp and you'll be able to get to those settings)

So the first step is you select what presets you want to use as your quick access presets.

Once that is done, those are the presets that will be selected when you select QA1/QA2 on the foot switch or... a third quick access (QA3) is available if you have a 4 button foot switch, which is really worth the extra $$$)

I use the software rendered tuner all the time if I'm "plugged" in to fuse. The reason you see it move more than the LCD is it's able to display the pitch it's hearing with a higher level of detail than the one on the LCD. I think the LCD is 1/10 of a cent, where the Fuse displayed one is 1/100th of a cent.. (or something LIKE that!) Basically it's showing you a reading that is more accurate(?) cent wise, than what the LCD can show. I guess that's a reasonable way to summarize it

The 4 btn fsw works great!

Once you set your MIV's Util Menu for the three (3) QA Memory Addresses you want, they'll be directly accessible from Mode 1 on the 4btn fsw.

Tip: The Mustang always powers up to Memory Preset Address 00 so there's little need to assign that to a QA.

Mode 2 on the 4btn fsw navigates Up/Dn through the Preset Memories, either, one at a time, or in Bank jumps of ten at a time.

Tuner Mode on the 4btn fsw works even better than using the on amp buttons! For any Preset with a Delay FX configured, using the fsw to get in and out of Tuner Mode prevents the Save buttom from turning Red (firmware glitch) when exiting Tuner mode.

If you'll be using the REMUDA App, it allows you to define (in Settings) what Preset Memory Address the Mustang Amp goes to immediately after it powers on!

REMUDA also has a Performance Mode. Here you associate Presets to Songs in SetLists you define; up to 3 Presets per Song. When you select a Song in Performance Mode, REMUDA changes the Preset on the Amp! REMUDA can also be enabled (in Settings) to automatically remap the QA button assignments on your 4btn fsw with the Presets of each Song in Performance Mode as you select each Song. This you can choose to be done to Preset memories 0,1,2 or 97,98,99.

Tip: The Amp's Util Menu QA assignments can be set to different values.

All this and more is explained in REMUDA's Help screen.
