Since they're probably still not out yet- has anyone in the fender back rooms hooked up a mustang floor to a Fender Fortis F-12BT 12" 1300W 2-Way Powered Speaker, and if so- what were their thoughts about the sound and eq controls . I've been hearing about the L6 firehawk(?) 1500....but I would rather stay in the fender family if possible. Thanks for any information provided.

I am a fanboy (fanman) of Fender too but you really need to also look and listen to Mackie, Behringer, and Yamaha for powered speakers. 1300W can be crazy loud and getting heavy as well. Also, I don't have any earthly idea what you are looking to do but two *much* smaller powered speakers will give you more versatility with the Floor with stereo effects, etc. Again it is all about what you are trying to do though. Will this be your monitor in a band? Is there a PA in all of this?

I play with a keyboard player who plugs into one of these - it's capable of getting ridiculously loud (300 SS watts), and sounds nice and clean. Probably a good fit for a Mustang Floor, and it costs around $400:

Excellent suggestion Strings, I am flying a couple of Mackie SRM 450s and for PA speakers they can break glass for small to medium venues. 1300Ws for a single speaker cab? Who are you trying to kill?
