I can't wait to try this. I have a Google Nexus 6P, so that means I always have the latest Android.. currently Nougat. I'll let you know know soon if it works or not. I'm going to see about getting the adapter tonight.

Remember to try the REMUDA LITE free version first; so as you can test it works ok with your phone or tablet. Good luck and hope everything go's well for you. It's a great app.

The latest REMUDA build (just released this last weekend) has an entirely new Amp Control Interface! It has expand/collapse for the Amp and FX Banks. Almost everything can be controlled via this one display. And, the changes you make are not written to the amp unless you Save them. The Three Dot Android menu (to the right of the Preset selector field) gives access to the Save function, updated Signal Chain editing dialog, the EXP-1 Expression and Volume Pedal editing dialog, and more. The Settings screen also allows you to define this new Preset screen as the default when REMUDA starts. The new Amp control screen also has a new Press and Hold Reset feature for each of the numeric value parameters. There is also a Revert function via the three dot menu. This new screen makes it really easy to compare different amp models. When changing amps their parameters remain the same. However, when changing FX (to compare FX) their parameters are as you have previously saved them. Read the Help doc for full information.

This is wonderful. What build and version is Remuda now? Does it update itself automatically?

Build 1.6 released October 9.

Ordinarily, the App should be updated automatically by features of how the Google Play store works.

Nonetheless, there are times when that may not occur. Depending on how you have your Android device(s) configured, you may simply need to initiate the update from the REMUDA page on the Google Play Store. There is no need to uninstall your existing version.

I'd like to extend a big thank you to Music Law for all of the support he has provided for Remuda on these forums. I have been unable (until recently) to join these forums, but with the changes Fender made earlier this summer, MusicLaw suggested that I try one more time and Voila. Here I am. I'll try to pop in from time to time but the best way to reach me with Remuda questions or suggestions is via email to support@tritonsw.com. I'll do my best to get a reply out to you same day. I tend to get pretty heads-down when I am programming (which is almost all the time) so there may be times when I slip up, but I promise that I'll always do my best. Thanks. Robert

How? Can you give me an example of how the Bluetooth connectivity works? I am running Version 1.7.1-full Build 16. I assume you need two smartphones or tablets paired and one connected via the OTG cable to amp.

Precisely! Turn Bluetooth on, and pair your devices (if not already). Remuda on the device USB connected to your Mustang runs in Remoda Remote (Host) mode. Remuda on the other device run in Client mode and connects when you instruct it to do so in the Remuda Options Menu where you may select the device to connect with from the list of paired items, then tap Connect.

Thanks for the clarification and I really appreciate the support. On my second device that I am trying to pair (it wanted to share a key code and I had no way to input it) do I need to download Remuda again on the second device to make it work and if so will I need to buy Remuda again for that phone?

Bluetooth Pairing your several devices is an Android Operating System matter, having nothing to do with REMUDA. To accomplish Bluetooth Pairing between any two devices you will be prompted for the confirmation code needed bt the other device. Once you do this those two devices will see each other and be Paired for the abiliy for Bluetooth to be enabled between them by you manually or any App using the Bluetooth capability of those devices.

For this build of Remuda you must enable (turn on) Bluetooth on each device before you launch Remuda!

You install Remuda (the same version of Remoda) on all of your devices.

When you launch Remuda on the Host device -- the one USB conected to your Mustang -- you instruct Remuda to run in Remote (Host) mode via Remuda's Action Menu. It will use Bluetooth to listen for devices. On the Client device you launch Remuda and via the Action Menu instruct Remuda to use the device you select from the displayed list.

For unkown reasons, Remuda's developer has chosen to use nomenclature that some have found confusing. Although the Host and Client or Server and Client concepts are clear to most, the Remote concept, to mamy people, is the device you hold in your hand to control something else, like a TV remote, a radio controlled car remote, etc. In Remuda nomenclature, the phrase Remoda Remote is used to depict the mode Remuda software running on the Host/Server device, rather than the Remuda Client device acting as a remote device running Remuda on it, in turn, controlling the amp on the Host device.

You do NOT need to buy multiple copies of REMUDA. You log into the Google Play Store using each of your devices with your same email account and the Google Play Store will permit you to install Remuda to each.
