When i change from "Volume mode" to "Expression mode" the volume gets to 100%,
because the pedal has to be in the toe position, in order to change modes.
Is there any way to change this behavior?

Perhaps Fender may address this issue in future FUSE and Mustang Firmware updates.

For the time being, the only alternative is to configure the EXP-1's Volume Mode for something other than 100% when at the Toe Position. This is certainly not ideal, and counteracts the normally desired 100% Pedal Volume Toe position setting. Additionally, although possible, it makes little sense to use the Pedal's Expression Mode to control Volume as doing so deprives the Pedal from being used to express another Parameter on the Amp, and using two (or more) different Presets with the Pedal configured differently solely to circumvent the Volume mode Toe position issue only makes things more complicated.

Several months ago, I brought this precise issue to the attention of the Android REMUDA App's Developer, suggesting that the App be enhanced to support the EXP-1 Pedal. He had yet to acquire an EXP-1 Pedal. The software could track and maintain a brief history of the Pedal's Volume mode Level settings. When activation of the Pedal's mode switch (to Expression mode) were detected, the software could recognize this and restore the previous Volume Level -- if there were a very rapid Volume Level increase immediately before mode switching (or at least provide a User Settings preference option for doing so).

Several weeks ago, REMUDA'S developer purchased an EXP-1 Pedal. Support for it is in the works. On Jan 26, '16, the Developer replied to a REMUDA LITE User's Comment on the Google Play App Store that EXP-1 Pedal support is expected in mid-February.

Thank you for your answer MusicLaw.

Do you know if there is any development going on, with FUSE and Mustang Firmware at all?

I am aware of the possible workarounds, but I find them not very useful.
I think there should be an option to set the volume level you want, when changing from
“Volume mode” to “Expression mode”.

Regarding REMUDA, I am on iPhone unfortunately, and have no access to any Android unit.
It seems to be a very nice App though.
Do you know if there are any plans on making the App available on iOS?

I don't know of a solution ...can you give an example of a volume/expression pedal that has different behavior? Every single one I've ever used worked that way.

Thank you!

No, I do not. Fender does not comment on products until released. As you may already know it has been several years since Fender last revised or updated FUSE and the Mustangs' Firmware. Numerous improvement, upgrade, and enhancement reqests have been submitted to Fender regarding each product. Fender's response has yet to be more than a Thank You for the ideas submitted. As no major mission critical bugs exist in the Products, Users have to use them as they currently function and wait for what may lie ahead.

Your Feature Suggestion is good!

My understanding is that no Apple Remuda version is planned, due to Apple's Policies, Procedures, and Pricing for candidate programs.

REMUDA Version 1.4.2 is now available in both the Full and Lite Versions.

This release brings EXP-1 Expression and Volume Pedal support for Mustang III/IV/V and Mustang Floor, and preliminary support for the Mustang Floor. Also new are Plus/Minus buttons to parameter edit controls for fine adjustments; a simple Help Screen for getting started; support for External Storage permissions required on Android 6.x; Amp Firmware info reported in the App's settings screen; and, several User Interface improvements.
