Hi
Any one running a Jamman through their Mustang?
I have a Mus III and I both v2.... thinking of buying a Jamman Solo XT so I can do instant loops, play back. Also like the idea of creating backing tracks and being able to download and run others' backing tracks through the jamman to the Mustang.

Anyone have thoughts and or experience with this?

Thanks

The Solo XT works fine with the Mustang III. I use one occasionally in the effects loop, so I can record a clean loop, and have it play back clean without being affected by any effect models in use. There is also a setting in the utility menu for setting the effects loop to looper so the virtual effects loop for rack effects in FUSE is positioned properly in respect to the physical effects loop.

Thank you, ErikM
I also like the ability to store band tracks on the jamman, easy access.

The Util Menu's Looper parameter sets whether a Looper (in the Send/Return FX Loop) will be affected by different Preset Cabinet Simulations.

If the Cabinet Simulations you have selected for use amongst your chosen Memory Presets are identical, the Util Menu Looper setting is moot and may be set for "Normal".

If you have defined different Cabinet Simulations for the various Memory Presets you will be using with the Looper, set the Util Menu for "Looper".

Fender has several support pages for this feature including a block diagram PDF showing the affect of the two settings of this Util Menu parameter.
