Go with the Fender Twin to start. Preset "Touch of Reverb" which has a spring reverb you can lose if you want or *Beauty Clean* for a little delay and lush hall reverb. You can lose the delay or reverb on both. Later you can adjust by choice. The Twin is modeled the best IMHO.

Here's an exceptionally informative lengthy (multi page) thread buried several pages deep in the Mustang Forums, entitled: "Fender Mustang Controls and Fuse". I found it to have teriffic information about the Modeled Amps in the Mustangs! See: viewtopic.php?f=27&t=75417

If you have not seen it, you should definitely take the time to read through it! FFXIHealer's posts to that thread are exceptional!

Forgive me for being repetitious, but you all have really helped me. I followed the step by step procedure to move my preferred setting to position "00" and as you might imagine that's a very nice change. (I suppose it would be nicer still if the amp automatically started up with the same settings it was at when it was turned off, and I'm sure I'm not the only person who has wished for that.)

What would otherwise have been a frustrating exercise has been fun. I'm still bouncing around, for instance I can't easily figure out how to simply re-edit the name of my new preset after having done so initially (I'm constrained by my fear that I'll screw up what I achieved and have to start again.) But I'll get there, and even now I'm so far ahead of the game it's remarkable.

I also printed out the above step-by-step instructions as it seems they might come in handy in the future, and while doing that it occurred to me that there's a book that needs to be written about these amps (and I've learned who would make some good co-authors).

You people are very generous with your time and knowledge, I wish I could reciprocate but the very least I can do is make sure you are aware of my respect and appreciation.

HM, To Edit the Preset name Press Save then Tap the Data Wheel. The above requires the Memory Lock is Off.

If you have an Android device all of this is much easier with the Remuda App (from the Google Play App Store).

Thanks, and you're welcome. There are quite a few great threads that have sunk many pages deep. Well worth the few minutes required to browse the deep thread pages.

No, thanks but no Android device here, when it come to phones I'm an "Apple-atian." And I'm not going to try to learn a new operating system while in the midst of this!

Well he did mention the Remuda *App* and the Google Play *App* store so maybe somehow they might be related. You "Apple-atian" you. :P

Almost everything can be accomplished directly on the Amp or via FUSE (PC or Max). Remuda does bring several really handy & useful features to the mix otherwise not doable on the Amp nor using FUSE! If you have a buddy with an Android App, you may want to check it out using his device. BTW, there is no operating system learning involved. If you can use an Apple device, you can master Remuda in under 2 minutes.
