I am sorry for such a stupid question ...
I want just a dry signal through my amp as the church gave me a Line 6 to use. How do I accomplish this?

Thank you in advance.

Tal

PS - It is a Mustang I v2. Not a 2 v2.

Can you give us a clearer picture of what the Line 6 device is and how you are looking to run the two together?

If it's something like a Helix or a Pod, here's what I'd try.

Set the mustang up for a total CLEAN, (a Fender Twin setting would do it).

Keep the gain as low as possible. If you need more "level", add some compression.

Shut off all FXs, (reverb/modulation/delay).

Use the master volume on the amp to achieve the desired volume.

From the Line 6, (what ever that is) run the output to the mustang's input.

Everything else you will use for your sounds, should come from the Helix, or the Pod (if that's what it is?)

Thank you for the suggestion.

Actually, I am returning the Line 6 to the church. I purchased a Boss ME-80. Waiting on it to arrive from Sweetwater.

Someone sent me a link to a YouTube video that showed how to turn off all of the effects on the Mustang 1 v2. You hold down the tap button and turn it on. No effects are active. If you want the effects back on, turn the amp off and then turn it on as you regularly would.
