I bought a new Windows 10 computer. I loaded the latest version of Fuse for the G-Dec3 (2.7.1). When you open the Fuse program it does not recognize that the Amp is connected. It works fine with my old Windows 7 machine. I was able to get the Windows 10 computer to recognize the Amp by loading the original Fuse software version 1.0.1. But of course it struggles with my custom setups.

Do I need a new Windows 10 driver for Fuse version 2.7.1, or is there a new Windows 10 version of Fuse?

 I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling drivers. Repairing .NET Framework. Uninstalling/reinstalling 2.7.1 in various ways. I even tried an older version 2.6.1. Nothing works, the application will not recognized the amplifier as connected. The USB works, because the sound drive works as designed; playing music on the amp speaker when connected. Bottom line: There is an interface/driver issue with Windows 10.

 I called Fender and they said Fuse works fine for them on their Windows 10 machines. They recommended the steps above which don't fix the problem. Said they don't foresee an new version of Fuse for the G-Dec3. My conclusion is that G-Dec3 users are being left behind. If you want full functionality with Fuse, you'll have to keep around a Windows 7 machine. If you want to limp along, you can install the old Fuse version 1.0.1 which sees the amp, but has very limited functionality.

Very Disappointed!!

I've been using Fuse with my G-DEC 3 30 on a Windows 10 computer for months with no problems.
You might try downloading the newest version of the ASIO4ALL driver you can find, maybe that will fix your problems.

I can't find ASIO4ALL on the Fender Support site. They have ASIO version 2.10.F & 2.12.F. I've tried both and neither solves the problem. :?:

Thanks Jerry:

However the ASIO4ALL didn't solve the problem. Looking into the ASIO function, it effects the audio driver. This function works with my system. The problem is the Fuse S/W doesn't sync or recognize that the AMP is connected. For what ever strange reason the old Fuse version 1.0.1 works, but version 2.7.1 does not. :?

Fender's ASIO driver is ASIO4ALL, where they have ripped the references to ASIO4ALL out of the source, recompiled it with no other changes that I can see, and published it without references to the original authors. They may have obtained a license to do so, but it's still misleading the end users into thinking that this is something from Fender, when it really isn't.
