Well the reason for triggering backing track playback from Remuda Client is simple..... I play ocassionally is using backing tracks (also when practicing, which is very popular use-case I guess) and I found Remuda Remote very usefull to swich presets in PerformanceMode (no cables, but giutar cable). Currently I'm connecting tablet to Mustang and start Remuda in Server mode. Then I use a Phone and Remuda in Client to switch presets remotely but can't trigger playing backing tracks.

I'd like to have ability to connect tablet (Server) with Mustang (or other amplifier) using second cable (Headphone-Aux connection) and use a tablet as source of backing music. With this functionality I could just sit/stand in distance from Mustang, having just phone and the only cable connecting me with AMP would be guitar cable.

Of course this function could be also realized also as music-streaming from Client-To-Server by Bluetooth (like wireless haedphones do), but I think this is far more difficult to implement. So, I think triggering playback of music fileson Server would be good enought to satisfy most cases.

You can do that now. Just connect a 3.5mm to 3.5mm wire between the tablet (headphone out) and the AUX of the Mustang.

Remember, the device controls the volume, so turn the Master down before you hit play on the backing track!

Thanks for the clarification. Given the current design of the Remuda Remote server, it will take a bit of time and effort to add this capability to it. But I can certainly see the benefit in terms of on-stage setup to have the server actually playing the tracks. Thanks.

Well, I'm doing so. But in this setup and current version I can't user Remuda Remote (Server-Client via bluetooth). So, when tablet is connected to AMP using 3.5mm cable and Started in ServerMode it can't play backing tracks...

Anyway Remuda is awsome.... and it's Remote function is worth every cent.

It does not. My current plans are to wait and see how well received the Fender supplied App is. From what I have read the iOS version is great and the Android version is lagging slightly in features. If Fender doesn't come through on the Android version then I may take a look into making a GT specific version of Remuda. Regards. Robert

Bought the Remuda app and it's giving me fits. It starts up normal about half the time. It will start in direct mode and show all of the presets with the current present box colored in. It will let me select another present most of the time but that's about it. Press performance....lock up,press presets...lock up, press current present to edit....lock up,....

I don't get it. It acts like it wants to work but very unstable....reviews and such seem good though.

I'm using a Google pixel and Mustang 3 ver2 amp. I'm using the adapter that came with my phone and the cable that came with the mustang.

My OTG adapter works fine, syncing with PC, reading thing drives, etc... What gives?

Seemed like the Lite version was good, but now I've paid money for the full version, it's horrible...completely unusable, any ideas???

Hi. If you are using the same OTG adapter and device then everything should work just fine. The Lite Version and the Full Version are built from the same code at the same time (seconds apart). It is possible that you still have the Lite Version installed and in that case the Lite Version may be claiming the USB port before the full version gets access to it. Can you check and see if the Lite Version is still installed and if it is uninstall it? If it is easier you can contact me at support@tritonsw.com Regards. Robert

Just noticed that you refer to the "Adapter that came with your phone". I see that an OTG adapter is shipped with the Pixel. Does this adapter have a female USB and a micro USB or is is it a USB-C plug on the device side? Just curious. Thanks.

Thank you. I actually deleted both versions and reinstalled the full version.

I may be guilty of not fully checking out the Lite version...I know it found the amp and showed me the presets ...

Yes, the adapter for my Pixel is female USB-A to USB-C. It does work with my PC and thumb drives....

Sometimes after it locks up, it won't even restart right. I get "Remuda" at the top of the screen and nothing else...

Another odd thing I've noticed is Google assistant has toggled on when trying to close out Remuda when it does lock up.

Those symptoms sound a lot like a bad OTG adapter OR some other cable related failure. I don't have any specific reports of the Pixel having USB problems but in the past I have received reports of the Nexus (also with a USB-C) not reliably connecting. Seems to me like a refund is in order. If you can provide me with the Google Play order number I will process that immediately. Thanks. Robert.

Thanks Robert for your help.i really wanted it to work. For what it's worth, I tried 4 OTG adapters, lol. My wife has the Pixel as well.

We both also had the Note 7's before the recall so we have the 2 Samsung adapters as well. They are also USB-c. Of course, tried several cables with the adapters as well.

Again, thanks for your help and your time spent on the app. It looks like it works for alot of people.

I just processed the refund. I don't know how long it takes to hit your account but I suspect a couple of days at maximum. It's looking like the Pixel may have an issue. I'll keep my eyes open for any info in that regard.
I'd really appreciate it if you could update your Play Store review to reflect the current status. Thanks. Robert

It still shows up on a desktop browser in the first set of reviews but on a device it may have moved to the second page. I don't have any direct experience with editing reviews but I do know that they persist forever. Regards.

99% sure I know the answer, but any chance of an iOS version?

If not, what about a Chrome app? I'd really like to try Remuda, but not buying a phone just for that. It looks awesome!
