I've used Fender tube amps since 1970..................................Still use them
Bought the Mustang I V2 for a practice amp, and was just needing something reliable, which it is, and after 4-5 months dialed in some decent presets. Realizing the limits of certain aspects of it because of the firmware/software , I have given up on exploring any further potentials of it. Why ? Fuse,... it has really been a let down as far as Fender's following up on user's requests . And the requests are so widespread , and it is reality that they don't care, OR came to a dead end developing it. I detrimentally relied on Fender's reputation when I purchased the amp. The R&D department for this must be in a 3rd world country , where internet is just getting started.
AT LEAST IT WASN'T BIG MONEY.

Adding a Super Reverb,or a Vibroverb, the two most sought after amps for vintage collectors, and players EVER, to the presets could be a start. I don't want lame "well if you tweek a Twin or Bassman setting, you can almost get that sound". NOT ! I've owned three Supers, I know damn well what they sound like.
Typing this , and previous rants of mine , is just a steam release, not really expecting anything dramatic from a Fender moderator, other than the company advised rhetoric , polished for so many similar posts.

Did you consider the MIII? Its on board LCD significantly reduces the need for FUSE.

Ok, I have ~1962 Deluxe (5E3),1965 Deluxe Reverb RI, 2001 Deluxe 90 DSP, 2013 Hot Rod Deluxe III,
The purpose of the Mustang I V2 amp was to just practice , at a low cost. I ripped the stock 8" out, with the baffle, installed Eminence 10" GA10-SC64, mounted 1954 era radio baffle and oxblood grille cloth. ... why would I need/want more of a practice tool than that . Clearly, NOT the point. And it looks almost as old as me.
If you're happy with yours, great. I've had too many amps, and the two I mentioned far and above have their own voice that Fuse can't , as it is now, replicate. If you've never heard one of these, words here cannot describe the glorious tone.Imagehttp://forums.fender.com/posting.php?mode=reply&f=26&t=99830#

so you had the amp for 4-5 months, and you're not happy because nobody added a Super Reverb model in that time?

FUSE is not designed to do anything the DSP otherwise cannot. You're likely to get better results from another modeling App such as Amplitube, amongst others.

BTW, nice looking custom job on the cabinet, spkr upgrade and grillecloth.

One suggestion. Since you wanted to buy a cheap practice amp, be happy. You have a very nice inexpensive practice amp. You sure did it up nicely. Now, go buy a real 1964 Vibroberb or Super Reverb or quit griping.

been there, had them both, back in 1970's...'65 Vibroverb...'63 Bandmaster w/Dual Showman 2-15" JBL bottom....then...80's-2009..2 black face Deluxe Reverbs..3 black face Super Reverbs, CLEARLY, not the point.......it's (Fuse) is what it is, and I should be , and I always am happy. Just thought Fender might take it to more than what it is, like a teasing lass on a hot summer evening rubbing my 60's Mary Kaye rosewood neck so softly, then goes kissing an Ibanez player.

thanks....the 10" Eminence Legend does give me ¼ of a Super, kinda
...old looks normal to me. I do know old, mirrors prove it
And below ↓
1959 Deluxe (pre-reverb), dressed up in a new suit, 1970's Fender cab, 70's Jensen 12"~ 1963 basket weave grille cloth. I use it unfailingly, every Monday for our "Blue Monday's" ~The Deep South Akron Blues All Stars® (we don't do mustang sally/freeturd)Image
