Has anyone come up with a good way to organize your custom. PC-based, presets? I've noticed that FUSE organizes them alphabetically. I'd like to organize by application... say... clean, crunch and high gain. Has anyone tried using folders?

I suppose I could just rename them all and add a prefix to the name like "CL - My Favorite Twin" and CR - "Crunch and Munch"

What have you tried? :mrgreen:

Hi

It's as simple as opening the preset file with notepad (for example), searching (via CTRL+f) for "name" and here's the name displayed in the scrolling menu listing the presets. Type wathever you want.
I've added a prefix describing the type of music: Alternative, Jazz, Rock etc.
Renaming the file has no effect (only in the windows folder).

Preset files are located in the Documents/fender/fuse/presets folder
You can modify whatever you want, even the author (why would you like to modify this?)

An example? It's this preset, modified https://fuse.fender.com/mustangv2/prese ... -pop-punk/
<Info name="PopFunk Pop-punk" author="thomsa" rating="0" genre1="32" genre2="35" genre3="36" tags="punk, pop, pop-punk, blink, 182, fall out boy, sum 41, good charlotte" fenderid="0">

Thanks for the info - I want to edit the Author field so that I can add my name as I am the author.

To be honest - I have not auditioned any posted presets that move me... and I can't seem to locate the Jeff Beck presets.

I like to roll my own. 8) 8)
