I tried to download a preset and it tells me I do not have the latest Flash Player. I load the latest , follow the instructions, turn off the computer, reboot. Same thing , over and over and over again. In the end I am not able to download a preset. It seems to me that you should be able to click on the green button that says? "Download" and actually be able to get a download! I mean , isnt that what "Download" means? You get to download the time you clicked on download for? Ready to give it up and go back to Line 6.

A little more info would be helpful in helping. What OS are you on? What Browser are you using? Are you logged in as an Administrator?

Also, are you logged in to Fender FUSE when you try to download presets? Or are you using the FUSE website to download? Link And if so, did you log in to the website?

I am on a Windows 7 system. i7 2.8 with 8 gig ram. I log in using the Fender program provided with the amp. I start the program with by right clicking , use as admin, log in once started, go to "Community" , then "Download Presets" , select my preset, click on the green "Download" button, it goes to the next page to tell me about the preset but says I do not have adobe flash, which I do have, and downloaded again last night to be sure its the latest, and thats it....no place to get the download.

You might need to remove flash player entirely and then reload it. Use the Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel.

I also run an old WinXP system that prompts me to update my flash player all the time. It displays a banner above the page advising that it blocked flash player from starting. There is a tab there that says ,"continue blocking" and "allow". When I click Allow, it comes up with another banner that says, Remember Allow" or something like that. Clicking Remember Allow lets the current version of my flash player works.

I'll do that , remove Flash Player. ALSO, I followed the link in the reply above and am able to download just fine. If I use Fuse as I have done for a couple of years, I cannot.

This part here raises a flag for me.

If you are not Logged in to an Administrator account in windows, it might not actually be updating Flash and thus you’d get this error every time.

Do you not have any user on the system that you can log in with Admin credentials? I’d start there.

Yep, it has been stated by Fender staff in the past that you must be logged in with a user account that is a member of the Administrators group. AFAIK, selecting 'Run as Administrator' is not suggested, although it may have worked for you in the past.

But.... it sounds like there may be other issues with Flash on your computer.

While you're updating Flash, it's a good time to run any pending Windows Updates.

Can you please verify that you have the current version of Fender FUSE installed? That would be version 2.7.1 presently.

OK 2 things:

1. Opening the FUSE program isn't the same as logging in. Once you have opened the program, click the LOGIN button in the lower-right side of the screen and log in using your FUSE user account. When you are logged in, it will have a green 'light' in the lower-right corner of the window, like this:

2. You are opening Fender FUSE ... but then you are browsing to the Fender FUSE website inside the FUSE program. Instead, click the MEDIA LIBRARY button in the upper-right side of the Fender FUSE screen and download presets there. It won't solve your Flash issues, but this is how the program was intended to be used.

Here's a video on what to do once you click the MEDIA LIBRARY button: (video provided by Fender):

Thank You! I did all of that. It appears to be a Flash issue in the Program. I can download all day using the web site then upload into the amp using Fuse. I was able to just use Fuse until the Flash issue. So, after all that frustration I was able to get the download I wanted, and , I hated the download! Go figure.....anyway, there are a ton of really good resets out there. This one that I did not like, did help me find setting I wanted to get the sound I was looking for by tweaking it a bit. This amp and software is really pretty spectacular once you get past the issues with Fuse and downloading.

Sorry, I'm a little confused. You said the Download button was green? The one and only place I can find a green download button is on the Fender FUSE website.

So you right-click and Download Preset comes up like this?

Image

But when you select it, an error message says you do not have the latest Flash Player? Can you post a screenshot of the error message?

Note that FUSE uses Silverlight, which uses Internet Explorer. If you use another browser, like Firefox, Opera or Chromium, it doesn't matter whether Flash is up to date for that browser - it has to be up-to-date for Internet Explorer.
I.e. you have to select, download and install the Internet Explorer (ActiveX) version of Adobe Flash.

Sorry, for not responding sooner, I was sent out of town on my real job... ;>)
The latest is the program says its loading then I get a black screen. I do have the latest Flash Player for IE. Fuse has been buggy since I bought the amp. Its more frustrating than it is enjoyable. At this point I think selling the amp and going to a Line 6 or back to my tube amp will serve me best.

well since you don't seem to be interested in answering my questions above, that might be your best bet.
