Hi All,

New to the world of amps, etc. but am really enjoying my IIIv2!

I'm trying to come up with a setting to replicate Roger McGuinn's sound.

After doing research, I found out that he used double compressors in the studio, a 12-string Rickenbacker, and a Vox amp, or known to use Fender Twin live.

I don't have a 12-string, so am trying to figure out how to use Fuse to get as close as possible.

Here are my thoughts:
I'm trying to tweak Sine Chorus, post-amp. Since I only have a six string, I'm guessing that if I add an octave tone, it'll kind of emulate a 12 string.
I'm using the rack-amp because I find it's the quietest, in terms of background noise.
I'm using post-amp compression full tilt. However, I'd like to add another compressor, ala McGuinn, but can't seem to figure out how. When I try to add a stompbox, pre-amp, it only moves my rack compressor over to a position pre-amp. ... ARGHHH!!!
And yes ;-) I know I'm limited by using my six string
Any Byrds fans out there been able to crack the code? Please share.

Take care,
Newfie

Using the diatonic pitch shift might seem like a good idea, but don't forget that only the E, A, D and G pairs are an octave apart. The B and E' pairs are tuned in unison.
